This weather sucks

as Henry would put it.
All the way up to South West Rocks was Henry going "This weather sucks" and it did. It was awful. We stopped to get some beer at a local gas station and asked the man behind the counter what the weather forecast was for our weekend. His answer was encouraging "Like this, but worse".

When we woke up Saturday morning none of us wanted to open the blinds. Diving in rain is no fun, and it would deffinatele effect visability. But hey, the sun was shining all weekend and it was all good.

When I met Elad down the Opera Bar on Thursday the rain was ok, but it soon got worse. By the time I met Chris at Ryan's bar it had stopped raining. I spotted an umbrella someone left behind and decided to steal it if no-one came back for it within an hour.

When Chris and I parted I walked up Pitts Street towards Central. Half way there I get a call from Chris.
-Where are you now?
-I'm walking to my hostel. You?
-I'm at Central. My train is another hour and a half.
-Ok. I'll be there in five minutes and I'll wait with you.

So we sat down outside my hostel and talked and sang (I'm gonna be). I was in my room by 01:30. I had not prepared my bed or anything, so I got my little flashlight out and started to sneak around looking for my toothbrush and stuff. It all went well and I didn't wake anyone up.

By lunchtime on Saturday I get a call "Ka kaaaaaw!" and a lot of noise from the Wellington Rugby Arena. It was the song "I'm gonna be" and Billy singing along. I joined in and laughed right there on George Street.

So. The umbrella. I have to add that to my list. I kept carrying it around, because everyone knows that if you dont' have one it will most definately rain. it didn't rain all Saturday and I truly believe that me carrying around that thing was the reason for the great weather we had on my last night. (It was really the day after my last night but I had no idea of that at the time.)

When we parted, James kept the umbrella and what do you know. The rain starts pissing down.

This weather sucks. i'm out of here. (Although. I heard that there was a cyclone last week over Fiji, so...)
