Staying in Manly

I'm staying in Manly til I leave for New Zealand on the 5th. The weather is great and I'm gonna spend some days in the beach here. Bill's going back to work tomorrow but says it's ok if I wanna stay. He says this with his really american accent. Those of you who have talked to him, you know what I mean. He's a sweat person and I've really enjoyed staying here. So many laughs everyday.

I love Australia and a part of me doesn't want to leave. But there is still a lot to look forward to. Met some of Bill's friends down the pub the other day. Two of them are kiwis. They told me to be careful in NZ, especially in Auckland. Apparently they have issues with drugs amongst young people and I should watch my back. Watch my back? I really want to make an ass-comment now, but you'll have to use your imagination on that one.

Anyway. Carol! Is this true? I really wouldn't want to get robbed and raped. That would ruin the whole journey. So I'll watch my back.
