Esta bien

Everywhere you go, you get told to be careful using too much water. Like on the Reef Boat, we could only shower for 3 minutes per day (which is my standard length anyway).

Camping on Fraser Island, we had no showers. The last night we had to camp at a camping site, cause we had lost our way and it was getting dark. Quickly! Jen and Rob came to the rescue and called the 1800-number and sorted out a permit. Thanks guys! AnnaKarin: Thanks is spelled t-h-a-n-k-s. There you go.

So. A shower was one dollar. I had no idea how long it was gonna last, so I soaped up and then put the money in and quickly showered. After I was done (I'm pretty fast) the shower was still on. Ok. I guess it turnes off automatically then. The time was 01:02 in the night and I snuck back to the tent.

In the morning Ingrid goes:
-I went to the loo at about 2:30 and someone had left the shower on. Huh... It was like beeing in a horror movie.
-Yeah. That was me. The shower never turned off... Weird.
-You have to turn the water off, Anna.
-But I thought it would just turn it self off when after a while. I thought that's what the dollar was for.
-Yes. That's the hot water. The cold water is free.

So there you go. I could have saved a dollar and the enviroment.
The next day I had two cold showers for free, to make up to it.
