Everything is just turning out so smooth, you know. Nicola and Jen are such great girls and I couldn't have asked for better travelling friends.
I was just thinking that it is kind of an experience not using your own language for such a long time. That, and the fact that everything is so different over here just makes the whole thing amazing. That's just what I wanted. New sounds, new views, new smells, a new everyday life. All this cool stuff we're up too is just a bonus.
Yesterday was so beautiful. The Whitsundays was amazing. Wow. I don't know if pictures will be able to show you guys who haven't been here, but I'll be sure to upload some later. Whitehaven beach is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it was like a dream.
What we liked the best about the Whitsundays tour was
Nicola: the boat trip
Jenny: the snorkelling
Anna: feeding the fish
The boat trip was lots of fun and I really enjoyed it. The snorkelling was amazing. The water was so clear and the fish kept swimming up to me, looking at me.
But when we sat in the water at Whitehaven beach... that just blew me away. The crew guys at the boat threw some bread rolls in the water and literally dozens of fish came swimming to it. Got some video of me and Jen loosing it and it was so much fun. I've never done anything like that before. Beautiful 25 cm big fish all around your body. And the water was so clear.
Futher down south.
The landscape is amazing all the time and driving is really easy. I drove for a couple of hours yesterday and I really liked it.
The dorms are about AUD 24$ which is 124 SEK and so far we've been really lucky with the places we've chosen. Thanks for all the tips Graham!
Tonite there's a Beach House bbq. It's supposed to be really good. It's only 15$ for all the food and punches. Open fire and party on the beach seems good enough for me.
Thinking of staying in Noosa for a couple of days longer than Nicola and Jenny, who both have plans in Brisbane for the 21st. I don't have accommodation in Sydney, so I am in no rush.
Bill from the boat trip offered me to stay at his place over xmas if nothing else works out, and that's very sweet of him. There's also Dan, John and Matt to call if I really get in trouble. Thanks you guys! I'll be sure to meet you all what ever happens. I'll be in Sydney until the 5th when I'm leaving for Auckland. And Jonas and Tess! We're celebrating xmas together (with Bill) with a bbq. Looking forward to that! And thank you Peter, for helping me get in touch with your friends over here!
Jenny's flying to Auckland on the 6th and Nicola hasn't decided yet. Plans for NZ are still open, but I guess I'm gonna do some more diving and I really want to try skydiving.
Again. I'm having the time of my life here. That night out in Cairns was so much fun I still can't stop shaking my ass. Didn't get so say good bye to all of you, so if you're reading this I want to thank you for the dance!
